It Feels Good To Smile! I Love Thursday
Good way to look at things...
I read something today that said even going through the motions of smiling ... even if your heart just isn't in it ... can help ease a little of the malaise. So GO! :D
Ok.. I'll admit it.. Some days, you just need something to smile at.. And for me, today, This is what I love.. Anything that brings a smile to my face.. Even if its a goat!! or asongs!! lol
It feels good to smile! ;) ^_^

Simple Christmas Gathering
Last Sunday, first thing we did before the gathering was the weekly visit to the church and give thanks to God for all the blessings and more to come ^_^. Rain or shine natuloy pa rin kami pumuntang Yishun sa bahay nila rose, my ex- amkor officemate. They invited us for a small gathering, Greg, Joan and their kids were also there. Though malayo yung place nila at medyo mahirap hanapin, okay lang gusto ko talaga silang makita. We rode at least 3 buses bago makarating sa kanila halos maligaw-ligaw pa kami okay pa rin. hehe
Okay naman kahit kami-kami lang, may konteng salo-salo and enjoy naman ang lahat, lalo na yung mga bata kasi first time lang din nila nagmeet except sa mga anak ni greg na meet na namin before. Good thing for marielle na rin kasi meron syang new friends and playmates at talaga namang nawili sya sa pakikipaglaro. They also went to the condo's swimming pool and marielle took the opportunity na makabonding yung ibang mga bata. Take note... nagnight swimming din si marielle with the other kids and she really enjoyed the moment na makasama at makalaro sila.^_^
Syempre hindi rin nagpahuli ang mga husbands meron ding bonding, may konteng inuman kahit tatatlo lang sila mukha namang nagenjoy sa konteng chit chat while inuman. Kami namang mga mommies since first time namin ulit nagkasama-sama tlaga namang sinulit na namin yung moment na makapagkwentuhan about past and present life hehehe ^_^. I am glad and happy to see them here in Singapore as they were my Amkor ex-officemates. Actually sabi nga ni husband OP daw sya since most of us ay galing sa amkor and my husband is the only one from Intel.
But it doesn't matter as long as we all enjoyed, together with our kids in this small simple christmas gathering ^_^ okay lang.

My recent activities that kept me busy...
Last Thursday night we went to Tampines Mall....Rain or Shine... We meet up with my Kumareng Joan and her kids (jewel & jill) and have dinner with them. We had a great time with lots of chit chats and our kids bonded with each other. I was so happy to see my kumare again after 2 years or more, now both our family are here. And it's a good thing my daughter got new friends too (jewel and jill). ^_^
Most of our Friday were spent at home due to heavy rains and doing nothing. But when the rain stop a bit in the afternoon, I asked my husband to go out and have dinner at the mall. We waited for my husband to go out of the office. We had nasi lemak for a dinner, a malaysian type of food which a bit similar to filipino food. After dinner we went to Sengkang, Compass point buy other stuffs and pasalubongs.
Saturday of course is our Family Day ^_^... We went to Vivo City to had our brunch at Secret Recipe. I ordered grilled chicken with mushroom sauce which I shared with my daughter and for my hubby, it is some kind of fish, I believe it was called Catch of the day or something ^_^. After we were full and satisfied, we started to buying stuffs that some of our relatives requested. We also happen to watch the movie "The Golden Compass". The movie is great kaya lang bitin ^_^.
So, after watching a movie we proceed to Central (another mall) to buy something sana but so sad to say wala na yung bibilhin ko. But anyway kahit papano enjoy parin lalo na si Marielle kasi nakapanuod naman kami ng ice skating show. Hindi na rin kami masyado nagtagal sa Central after a bit of picture-taking.
Mall again ^_^. But this time different mall which is FUNAN, an IT mall where you can find electronic stuffs and gadget. At first we only intend to canvas a laptop for my husband's sister but I suggested to buy it now. At least we have a chance to test the laptop and in case there is a problem, we still have time to return to the shop. So far (and fortunately) wala pa namang naencounter na problem as I am the one using it the most (for break-in purposes).
After Funan, we headed to Mustafa (a 24-hours shopping mall) where we bought a lot of chocolates for pasalubong paguwi ng pinas. ^_^ hehe
So, that is all for now... sobrang nakakapagod but we enjoyed those moments as we spent together as a Family. =)

It is rainy season again...
Today's rain was heavier than the previous rains this week. It was a very, very wet day. Finally having some rain!!! But at the same time very frustrating! We cannot go out as planned. This is like the first 'real' rain that I experience sinced I got here. It does not seem to stop just as yet. Hmmm. a record? I ponder. Hope it will be fine tomorrow (I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!!!!) I don't wanna go grocery shopping in the rain. trust me. :+

Keep an extra roll handy - S-hooks and a length of nylon string.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates running out of toilet paper in the middle of one's daily ritual. We're not always alert when sitting on the throne, so we don't always notice when a roll's almost empty.
So an extra roll where one can easily reach it—without having to stand up!—is a must.I know there are pretty crocheted toilet paper holders out there somewhere—I've seen them in the homes of friends and family. But for the life of me, I haven't had the luck to find any.
So my husband rigged us one. All it takes is two S-hooks and a length of nylon string. The only thing you have to watch out for is that the S-hook can fit inside the toilet paper's cardboard tube. Tie the string to the S-hooks on both ends, put the roll through, and hook the lot on the holder. That's it. It's far from Martha Stewart, but it does the job. ^_^
Hi Friends...
Sorry, it's been a while since my last posting. I see it is almost 1 week or more since I have posted anything. That seems about right. I have had some big changes in my everyday life recently. This is great for me. It will be a challenge to get things into shape. =)
