We just finished watching Evan Almighty.
It is a comedy movie, very entertaining and it did make me chuckle.
It is something that the whole family can enjoy together and a fun way to kill a few hours.
The story goes like this...
Out of the blue, God (Morgan Freeman) appears and tells Evan (the guy who starred on 40-yr old virgin movie, i forgot his name) to build an ark because a flood is going to destroy the earth…“a great flood is coming”. He supplies Evan with the materials, the tools and even the land on which to construct the gigantic boat (the ARK). The movie could have been called "God Is My Co-Signer."
I love the part where God told to Evan that in order for him to change the world, he must do one Act of Random Kindness at a time. ARK for short. Get it? hehe
And at the end of the movie, God showed a new commandment: Thou shall not do the dance :p He was actually referring to Evan's ridiculous dance.
During the credits, the behind-the-scenes shots of the cast and crew were shown while they were grooving to "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" sing, they all look like they're having a great time (ang sasaya nila).
